Storm, Thetford 2007Aug 12, 01:31 PM

Sweet loving thetford. So, we started the day nice and early at 11ish pulling our trusty trailer No5 all the way to their local village green. It was beautiful surrounded by trees, amusement parks with the local just over the road. We arrived in good time to find that alas, prior to when we arrived it had been very wet and our when we got there we were told the stage trailer got stuck in the mud which put all the sound checks back a little while efforts were made to save the day.

So, we ate their sandwiches and drunk their drinks and we hugged our fans and enjoyed their pink inflatable sofas until sound check, at which point we sound checked. Following that we went for a little walk up a big hill and then met more fans.

By the time we played the place was choca, the sun shone upon us and we could sense that people were relaxed and ready to receive from God. The sweet smell of summer and sunscreen set us up for an excellent performance, and they loved it!!

It was great to play our first non-church gig! We felt that we had left a piece of heaven with them and gave them something to think about.

Until next time…
