The invitation for Rock Nations 07 to play “Miracle” came of the back of a concert we did to the ALC youth at Bradford earlier in August. We were really wowed that Steve Gambill wanted us down to play at RN07, what an honour!

As Mark, Aaron and Buck were already in Bradford with the incredible Wildlife youth group, I travelled up on the Thursday night ready for Friday. It was an easy hotel to find, all I had to look for was a place where where all the lights were on and all the rooms were empty at around midnight…

Friday morning we had to be up early for a sound check. Getting to a big platform like ALC Bradford’s gets the nerves going. What an amazing setup, we were greeted by the very helpful and organised crew and just had to wait back for a slot to do the check.
Around about 11:30 we were able to kick in with a few songs, the rooms was full of young people, over a thousand I guess so that was great. Our main song was ‘Miracle’, and it really was our desire to see miracles happen. It would be our mission complete to see miracles being performed as we belted out this song… watch this space…

Just to make the set more fantastic, we had the amazing talents of Big G (Mark Gallant) as sound engineer – thanks Mark for making us sound so…loud! Big G doesn’t like soft bass settings, he objects to this for religious reasons.

Many thanks again to Steve Gambill and all the ALC folks, here’s to RN08.
