Kairos Band

Ah yeah, Birmingham home of the Brummie and Judas Priest …we got there after a long a drive in a slow bus pulling an bit of a trailer, (top speed 55mph uphill, 80 downhill) Vahvoosh we made it to Birmingham CLC. What a releaf it was when we were greeted at the gate by familiar faces for this was not our first visit but alas our second visit to the church.

After a speedy set up and a quick Subway we were set to go ready to play our alternative to normal set that was normal but different to what we’d normally alternatively play. Anyhow practise was great, and the guys were really helpful setting up. We come to the real thing and on the first song my amp died, (it was just been fixed but the new pre amp tube died). So after a switch around to Aaron on acoustic I used his amp (thanks Lewis for offering me your amp!) and we continued to play until we had finished playing. The songs just seemed to flow into each other and there was a great atmosphere.

It was a great night with some great people (not just the band), and who knows when we’ll be back!
